About Dr. Ivey

Dr. Ivey is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery.
He has practiced in the southwest Houston area for more than 16 years. He began by partnering with Richmond Bone and Joint Clinic and later spent eight years with The University of Texas Orthopedics.
Dr. Ivey earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from East Texas Baptist University, received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Barry University in Miami, Florida, and completed his residency in podiatric surgery in Houston.

Beyond the clinic
Dr. Ivey grew up in Orange, Texas, playing sports, hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He serves as a team doctor for his children’s school sports teams. He and his wife are active in their church and enjoy travel and family life.
